Overview
Legg Mason International Equities ("the firm') specializes in providing investment advice in a range of different international equity investment strategies. The firm is investment driven and thus seeks long-term relationships with clients who wish to make a strategic investment into those strategies and participate in the growth of the asset classes within them. With offices in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, Sao Paulo, Warsaw and Melbourne, the firm is able to offer its clients' investment teams with extensive track records located in markets around the world. All the investment teams within the firm are bound together by a series of common institutional beliefs and values but retain the independence and autonomy of their investment process and decisions. As of 30th September 2007, the firm had approximately US$10 billion across the total spectrum of strategies managed for clients.

The firm manages assets for a diverse range of institutional clients across the globe and maintains a dedicated institutional marketing and client services team across a number of locations globally. In addition, it sub-advises mutual funds across a number of investment strategies within the Legg Mason mutual fund range for both institutional and high-net-worth investors.
